How Much Green Coffee Extract For Weight Loss?

We all keep hearing about using green coffee bean to lose weight. So does green coffee bean actually refer to the same coffee like we drink in the morning? Yes, however, there is an important key factor.

The green coffee bean is the raw, and unroasted seeds of the fruit: Coffea. Generally we know this plant (coffee) once it has been dried, roasted, ground and brewed to produce coffee.

How much pure green coffee bean, also known as green coffee extract for weight loss.

When deciding how many milligrams to take of green coffee extract, here are the results of a 22-week randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study, cross over study (1), here are the amounts that you might consider taking.

Subjects were give a high dose of green coffee bean, a low dose, or a placebo.

High-dose GCA (1050 mg/ day)

Low-dose GCA (700 mg/ day)

Placebo (0 mg/ day) - total weight loss

Over the period of 22 weeks, here are the findings to consider when buying your green coffee bean:

1. All the subjects lost weight (including the placebo group for the first couple of week).

* Gotta love that power of the mind. However, this did change, with the placebo levelling off near the middle and end of the study, while both the high and lose dose groups continued to lose weight.

2. For all groups, the most dramatic weight loss was observed with the high dose of 1050mg/day.

Most supplements come in doses of about 300-400mg of pure coffee bean, which means taking about 3 a day to achieve the high dose.

When Dr. Oz, did his well known (in studio) study, he gave the dose of 1200mg doses to the control group.

In both studies, the average weight loss per week was about 1 pound/week, or about 4 lbs / month, which is in fact a healthy amount of weight loss according to most nutritionists, because it is not just water weight that you are losing, and is lost at a rate that can be maintained.

With love,
