Apricot Sauce Recipe

This apricot sauce recipe is made with fresh apricots and is a simple recipe to make. Great on its own or with other foods and desserts.

Ingredients

8 cups diced fresh apricots
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 cups granulated sugar

Directions

Wash the apricot, cut them in half and remove the pits.

Cut into smaller pieces.

Place the apricots, sugar and sugar into a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir occasionally as the sugar dissolves. Do a taste test. If you want it sweeter add a little more sugar.

Once the mixture comes to full rolling boil, turn down the heat and let simmer for about 30 minutes stirring occasionally.

Turn off the heat and let the sauce cool down a little before putting into a blender.

Pulse until the sauce is a nice texture, transfer to a container that has a lid.

Keep in the refrigerator.

Delicious on its own or serve with other foods and desserts.
