1 (10-inch) Pre-made pie shell
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups creamo- also known as half and half or choose some type of creamy milk for coffee
2 cups grated Swiss cheese
10 fresh asparagus spears, washed and trimmed


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Put the Pre-made pie shell to bake for 10 minutes.*You will need to poke it with a fork and weight it down by lining it with a piece of tinfoil and either fit another baking plate on top or pour in some dried beans. When you take out of the oven remove whatever you used to weight down the crust.

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs with flour,paprika,salt,dry mustard and milk, then stir in the grated cheese.

Saving the asparagus spears for the top, chop the rest into 1-inch lengths; lay on bottom of pie shell. Pour in liquid.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and quickly arrange the asparagus on top bake another 20 to 30 minutes.or until set.
