This baked honey chicken wing recipe gives you a sweet and crispy wing. These wings are baked in the oven.
Place the onion, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, butter, mustard powder, garlic and sesame seeds into a saucepan. Stir to combine and heat over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes until hot. Shut off.
Line a shallow baking dish with aluminum foil and grease lightly with oil.
Rinse the wings in cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
Spread chicken wings in an even layer into a shallow baking dish and pour the sauce over the wings. Cover the dish with plastic wrap.
Marinate the wings in refrigerate for a minimum of one hour to overnight.
When you are ready to cook them, preheat oven to 350°F.
Place the wings into the preheated oven and bake for about 90 minutes, flipping occasionally, until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear.
When cooked, a meat thermometer should read 165ºF. stuck into the thickest part.
