Baked Potato With Bacon Bits And Cheese Recipe

Fancy up that baked potato with bacon pieces and melted cheese.

Ingredients

4 medium sized baking potatoes, cut into halves
1/4 cup melted butter
8 slices bacon
sliced cheese of your choice, enough to cover 8 potato halves
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Preheat oven to 400F.

Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Wash and cut the potatoes in halves. Dry well then brush the melted butter on all sides and place onto the baking pan.

Drizzle any remaining butter onto the potato halves.

Bake for 30-40 minutes or until cooked through.

Meanwhile cut the bacon slices into 1/2 inch pieces.

Place into a frying pan and cook until done to your liking.

Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked bacon onto a plate lined with paper towels.

When potatoes are ready, place the cheese slices,cooked bacon and parsley on top. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Serve.
