Baked Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

This recipe for Baked Stuffed Mushrooms is super easy and they can be served on their own or with a meal.

Ingredients

12 large white mushrooms & the stems from the mushrooms
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/4 teaspoon summer savory leaves
2 Tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Gently twist stems out of mushrooms. Set the caps aside.

Chop the mushrooms stems into very small pieces.

In a small frying pan, melt the butter

Combine the mushroom stems, dry bread crumbs, chopped nuts, summer savory, chopped fresh parley.

Use a spoon to stir together. Pour in the melted butter and stir until nicely combined.

Evenly divide and use a small spoon to stuff the mushrooms.

Arrange the mushrooms onto a baking sheet.

Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Time will depend on the size of the mushrooms.Serve hot.

Wonderful as as or these baked mushroom caps are very tasty served with sour cream and chopped chives or green onions.

Also delicious as a side dish with meat and potatoes.
