Banana Split Pie Recipe

A Fun recipe for Yummy Banana Split Pie. This Dessert is a special treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Crust:
1 1/2 cups finely ground graham cracker crumbs
6 tbsp butter

Cream Filler Layer:
1 cup butter
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 pasteurized egg *Please check below for alternatives if you do not want to use raw eggs

Fruit Layers:
2 bananas sliced thinly
8 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained very well
2 cups finely sliced fresh strawberries

Topping:
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
2 Tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Chocolate Drizzle:
2 teaspoons melted butter
1/3 cup chocolate chips

2 tbsp cornstarch = 1 egg
2 tbsp arrowroot flour = 1 egg
2 tbsp potato starch = 1 egg
1 heaping tbsp soy powder + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg
1 tbsp soy milk powder + 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg.
1 banana = 1 egg in cakes.
1 tbsp milled flax seed and 3 tbsp water = 1 egg. Light, fluffy cakes

Directions

Mix together graham crumbs with butter, press into the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate.

In a stand mixer bowl place 1 cup butter, 2 cups confectioners' sugar and 2 eggs.

Using the paddle attachment on medium speed, beat until smooth, light yellow, and fluffy.

Spread into pie crust and top with sliced bananas and pineapple.

In mixing bowl place, whipping cream, 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar, and vanilla. Using the whisk attachment beat until just stiff. Spread the whipped cream over the entire pie.

Chocolate Drizzle:

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the chocolate chips and heat until the chocolate has melted.

Drizzle over the entire pie.

Gently cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerate until ready to serve.

Top each slice with a cherry to serve.
