Brazilian Cheese Bread Recipe

A very yummy recipe for Brazilian cheese bread or Pao De Queijo. This Gluten free snack is delicious.

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups tapioca flour
2/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 beaten eggs


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

Into a large saucepan add olive oil, water, milk, and salt. Place over high heat. When the mixture comes to a boil, stir in tapioca flour and remove from heat, mix until smooth.

Set aside for 15 minutes.

Stir the cheese and egg into the tapioca mixture, knead dough until well combined. Drop rounded 1/4 cup-sized balls of the mixture onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until the tops are lightly browned.
