Candy Dipped Brownie Bites Recipe

A homemade brownie bite recipe using the brownie pop pans.

Ingredients

Brownie recipe
4 eggs
1 C. (250 ml) oil
2 C. (500 g) sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 C. (185 g) flour
3/4 C. (60 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Coating Options
1 bag, Dark Chocolate Candy Coating
1 bag, Milk Chocolate
1 bag, White Chocolate
Smarties

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Spray cavities of brownie pop pan with vegetable pan spray.

Place mold on a cookie sheet.

Combine eggs, oil and sugar. Mix well. Stir in vanilla.

Combine and add the dry ingredients; stir with a wooden spoon.

Fill brownie pop pan holes each 2/3 full with brownie batter.

Bake for 20-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick to see if they are ready.

Bake your brownie bites.

Remove from oven and let cool, gently loosening edges of brownies.

Flip pan and place flat on counter and tap the bottom with some force to encourage the brownies to come out of pan.

If they do not come out easily, try to loosen again with knife.

Use a skewer to poke a hole in the bottom of each brownie ball.

To melt your candy coatings, melt chocolate options in separate heatproof bowls in a microwave or over a double boiler stirring often until melted.

Dip the pops one at a time in the coating, holding the dipped pop over the bowl and allowing excess coating to drip back in the bowl.

Place onto parchment lined plate and immediately decorate with Smartie or other candy of choice.

If you forget this, you can whip up a little bit of icing to hold your Smartie in place.

Brownie Bites can be served immediately, or they will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
