Cherry Glaze Cheesecake Recipe

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
3 blocks (2 cups each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour Cceam
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 eggs
2 cups cherry pie filling


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 inch springform pan.

In a medium bowl, mix graham crumbs, butter and 1/4 cup sugar until well combined.

Press crumb mixture into bottom and up the sides of springform pan.

Using an electric mixer, mix the cream cheese and remaining sugar until creamy and well blended. Add sour cream and vanilla mix well combined. Reduce mixer speed to low and add eggs 1 at a time, just until blended.

Pour cream cheese mixture over crust.

Bake 70 minutes, or until center is almost set.

Let cake cool then top with pie filling.

Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake

Refrigerate cheesecake 4 hours before removing rim.
