This chicken teriyaki wing recipe makes some very flavorful wings. If you like teriyaki, this is a meal you will enjoy.
Combine the soy sauce, sugar, pepper, ginger, and garlic powder in a large plastic bag or a dish with a sealable lid. Mix well.
Add the chicken wings and gently stir until well coated.
Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for 24 hours, turning the container occasionally to evenly marinade.
When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 350°F.
Melt the butter and pour into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Add chicken and 1/2 of the marinade to the baking dish.
Transfer to the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the baking dish from the oven, turn the wings and pour over the remaining marinade.
Bake an additional 20 minutes, being sure that chicken is cooked through.
Once cooked, transfer the wings to a wire rack to drain the excess marinade.
Transfer to a serving platter and serve immediately.
