Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the chocolate over medium heat in a double boiler, or in a heat proof bowl over a pot of boiling water, stirring constantly. Be sure the bowl does not touch the surface of the boiling water and do not get even a drop of water in the chocolate.
Once the chocolate is melted (about 3 minutes), use a large spoon or icecream scoop to pour the chocolate drops onto the prepared baking sheet make your chocolate drops as evenly as you can. Sprinkle the chopped fruit pieces over the chocolate while it’s still hot.
