Ingredients
Cake21 oz can cherry pie filling
3 Tbls port
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
Port Cherry Frosting
2 1/2 cups powder sugar
3/4 cup butter, room temperature
2 Tbls port
1/4 tsp almond extract
10 oz jar maraschino cherries
1 cup melted semi-sweet chocolate, for the top of the cake
