This milkshake float is an easy treat to make. You can substitute other flavors of ice cream
Make 2 servings
2 oz (55 grams) semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
4 scoops chocolate ice cream
1 cup whole milk, as needed
2 extra scoops of chocolate ice cream (one for the top of each glass)
shaved chocolate for garnish
1/3 cup boiling water
Combine the chopped chocolate and boiling water in a blender and process until the chocolate is melted.
Add the chocolate ice cream and about three quarters of the milk. Process until smooth adding just enough milk to give you the desired conistancy for your milk shake.
Pour into tall glasses and put a scoop of chocolate ice cream on each. Sprinkle with the chocolate shavings and serve.
