Chocolate Walnut Brownies With Warm Chocolate Sauce Recipe

A Sweet and delicious recipe for chocolate walnut brownies served topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

Ingredients

Brownies:
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup cocoa powder
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
4 egg, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped

Chocolate Sauce:
1 cup chocolate chips
2 Tablespoons cream
Whipped topping
1 cup heavy cream, whipped

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease an 9 inch square baking pan.

In a large bowl. Place melted butter. stir in and sugar.

Add eggs to mixture, blending well.

Stir in vanilla.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to cocoa mixture and blend. Stir in walnuts.

Pour into pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, until firm when touched. Let cool before cutting.

To make the chocolate sauce, melt chocolate and stir in cream.

Cut cooled brownies then serve topped with whipped cream and warm chocolate sauce.
