Cooking Roast Beef Recipe

Interested in cooking roast beef? This is an easy Sunday roast.

Ingredients

1 kilogram beef sirloin roast
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
4 Tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce
salt and pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Grease large roasting pan with oil.

Season beef with salt and pepper and place in prepared pan.

In small bowl, mix together garlic, rosemary, vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.

Spread the sauce mixture evenly over the top of the beef.

Roast about 25-30 minutes, until thermometer inserted into center of the beef reads 145F.

Let beef stand 10 minutes before slicing.
