Cream Cheese Parfait Recipe

This cream cheese parfait recipe gives you three flavored layers. Dress up a rather simple dessert idea just by the presentation.

Strawberry Layer
2 cups chopped strawberries
4 teaspoons granulated sugar

Creamy Layer
1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt
4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
3 Tablespoon heavy cream
4 Tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch salt

Chocolate Nutty Layer
2 ounce chunk of good quality chocolate
1/2 cup ground almonds

(2 portions)


Strawberry Layer

Wash, stem and cut the strawberries into small pieces.

Sprinkle with sugar and let sit so the strawberries absorb the sugar.

Cream Cheese Layer

In a small mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, beat together the yogurt, cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla and salt until creamy smooth.

Chocolate Nutty Layer

Grate the chocolate chunk onto a piece of parchment paper using a grater.


If you want to make as shown, use clean jars to assemble the parfait.

Put a creamy layer, followed by a strawberry layer.

Spoon a layer of chocolate and nuts.

Repeat with another creamy layer and strawberry layer.

Put the rest of the nuts.

Top with a creamy layer and garnish with grated chocolate.

Garnish the jar with butcher twin if desired.
