Dads Double Cheeseburger Recipe

Dads know how to do burgers and especially double cheeseburgers.

Ingredients

12 ounces ground beef
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon steak sauce
olive oil for greasing grill
2 rings red onions
2 slices tomato
1 leafs lettuce
2 slices cheddar cheese
2 slices dill pickles
1 large hamburger bun

(Serves 1)

Directions

Place ground beef in a medium mixing bow.

Add salt, pepper and steak sauce.

With clean hands, mix until well combined and form into 2 1/2-inch thick patties.

Set the patties in the refrigerator to chill for 15 minutes before cooking.

Lightly grease grill with olive oil and heat to 400ºF.

Place patties on the hot grill and cook for 5 minutes.

Flip patties and grill on the other side for another 5 minutes, or until patties are cooked to desired doneness.

2 minutes before patties are done, top each with a slice of cheddar cheese.

Assemble burger by spreading favourite condiments on the bottom of the bun.

Layer on pickles, onions, lettuce, and 2 slices tomato.

Next stack on the 2 burger patties and then top with the other half of the bun.

Serve immediately.
