Deep fried pickle chips are a great conversation started for your next family gathering. Who won't want to try one?
In a medium mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, 2 1/4 cups flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
In a separate medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, worcestershire sauce and Tabasco. Mix until well combined. Set aside.
Drain pickles.
In a large sturdy sauce pan set over medium-high heat, heat oil to 350ºF. Keep an eye on the temperature and adjust heat if necessary.
Once oil is heated, dip drained pickles into milk mixture, then dredge in flour mixture and carefully drop into the hot oil.
Deep fry until golden brown, about 1 minute on each side.
Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.
