This is an easy asparagus recipe that take about 5 minutes to cook and is topped with a delicious comb of garlic and asiago cheese.
After washing the asparagus, slice off any hard ends and discard.
Heat a large saucepan with some butter to medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook until translucent.
Add the asparagus spears into the pan and mix in with the garlic, letting them saute for 1-2 minutes.
Drizzle with olive oil and add the lemon juice to the hot pan.
Cover immediately with a lid and let cook for 4-5 more minutes, stirring once.
Remove from heat and serve right away.
Garnish quickly with grated cheese so it melts on.
Season with salt and pepper.
