Easy Chicken Fried Rice Recipe

This easy chicken fried rice recipe will be even better than take out.
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoon water
1 egg, beaten
1 Tablespoon butter
1 onion, chopped
2 cups cooked white rice
1 cup chicken, cooked chopped into bite sized pieces
1/2 cup carrots, diced
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Beat the egg with the water in a small mixing bowl.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the egg mixture. Let sit, heating, for about 1 minute.
Remove egg from skillet, fluff and chop into shreds.
Heat oil in the same skillet, set heat to medium-high and add onion and saute until tender.
Add rice, soy sauce, pepper, chicken, carrots, bell pepper and green onions.
Stir fry for about 5 minutes. Stir in the egg and cook for a minute longer.
