Ingredients

2 1/4 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup raw cacao powder (or cocoa powder)
200 mL condensed milk
*(in this recipe we used dulce de leite condensed milk)
1/4 cup slivered almonds
Pinch of salt

Garnish
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate
1 teaspoon oil (grapeseed)

(Makes 12-16)

Directions

Preheat oven to 325F.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl stir together flour, coconut flakes, cocoa powder, almonds and salt.

Mix in the condensed milk and stir with a strong wooden spoon.

The mixture is thick, so use some muscle.

Spoon even teaspoons onto parchment paper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until the set and the bottoms are golden and easy to lift off.

In the meanwhile, chop and melt chocolate with oil.

Let macaroons cool before drizzling chocolate on top.

Enjoy warm or let cool.

Store in an airtight container on the counter.
