This easy pancakes recipe uses simple ingredients and would be perfect for the Sunday morning family time breakfast. A great recipe for little helping hands to help with the stirring.
Pancakes
Whisk together in a large bowl flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and brown sugar. Add in maple syrup, milk, olive oil and eggs. Mix until well incorporated. Set aside
Heat a large frying pan on medium high heat and grease with some oil. Using a ladle pour about a half ladle full into preheated pan. When one side is a golden brown (about 1 - 2 minutes) flip and fry the other side till golden brown.
Serve hot.
Toppings (add these topping to add a little more to your pancake experience);
Heated maple syrup
Sliced bananas
Sliced walnuts
Whipped cream
Fresh berries
Another little treat is to add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, and/or peanut butter chips to your batter before frying.
