Fish Sticks Recipe

This fish stick recipe is easy to do and one that the kids are likely to eat. The recipe has simple ingredients and the fish sticks are baked in the oven.

5 cups Panko crumbs (or a gluten free option)
2 teaspoons seasoning salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 pounds cod or talapia fillets, cut into 3/4 inch strips


Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.

Add panko, salt and pepper into a mixing bowl and add in the lemon peel.

In a separate bowl, mix the butter with 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice until well blended.

Season the fish fillets with salt and black pepper and then brush with the lemon butter.

Dip the buttered fillets into the panko mixture until fully coated.

Place the battered fillets on a lightly greased baking sheet and cook on the center rack for 7-10 minutes.
