Garlic Butter Toast Recipe

This garlic butter toast recipe will go very well with many main meals, salads and soups.

1 thin loaf french bread
4 Tablespoons butter, at room temperature
4 Tablespoons olive oil
2 medium garlic cloves, crushed
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Place a sheet of parchment paper onto a baking sheet.

Cut the french loaf into pieces about 1/2 inch thick.

In a small bowl, combine the butter, olive oil, crushed garlic and finely chopped parsley.

Spread butter onto one side of the sliced pieces of bread.

Place onto the prepared cooking sheet and place into the preheated oven. Bake until crispy brown and the butter is sizzling. Remove from the oven and serve while still warm.
