Garlic Toast Recipe

This garlic toast recipe explains how to make the toast in individual slices.

1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
1/2 teaspoon of seasoned salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 large (1 pound) loaf of French or Italian style bread


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Layer a heavy baking pan with heavy aluminum foil. Set aside.

In a small mixing bowl, blend the butter, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt and parsley until mixed well.

Slice the bread into 1 inch pieces and spread one side with the garlic butter.

Place in the oven to warm through for about 5 minutes.

Turn the oven to broil and then leave the oven door slightly open and brown the slices. Usually takes 2-3 minutes.
