This grilled steak recipe would go very well with one of Grandmother's Kitchen roasted potatoes recipes and a fresh salad.
To bring out the full flavor in your steak allow it to sit at room temperature for around 30 minutes prior to cooking.
Preheat your gas grill for 10 minutes.
Place the steak onto a plate and using a pastry brush, paint the olive oil onto all sides of the steak.
Lightly sprinkle the steak with black pepper, cayenne papper, garlic salt, and salt.
Do this on both sides of the steak.
Place onto the preheated grill.
Medium
Using high direct heat place the steak onto the grill grate, close the lid and cook about 5 minutes. Flip the steak use the pastry brush to put one tablespoon of butter on the steak and close the lid. Cook for 5 more minutes, check for doneness. Cooking times will vary with grills and times will vary, but this should produce a medium steak.
Well Done
Keep cooking and cut into the meat to see if it is as done as you like.
Serve hot.
