Nothing is better than a chocolate bar than a homemade chocolate bar. Choose all your favorite additions for the perfect treat that can even be healthy!
In the top of a double boiler melt the coconut oil and cacao butter over low heat.
Stir well and slowly add the cocoa powder.
Add honey, sea salt and vanilla.
Use a spatula to scrape the sides down as needed.
Line a tray with parchment paper, the smaller the tray the thicker the chocolate bar will be.
Pour mixture and spread evenly.
Top with slivered almonds.
Place tray into freezer to harden.
Once hard you can keep it stored in the fridge.
