Scald 3/4 cup of milk and cool to lukewarm.
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup of warm water (110 to 115 degrees) in large mixing bowl, let stand 5 minutes.
Mix remaining ingredients and knead to make a soft dough ball.
Oil a large bowl, place the dough into the bowl and turn so both sides are oiled, cover with wax paper till doubled in size (about an hour).
Punch down, form into rolls on a greased cookie sheet and let rise until double in size (about an hour).
Bake in preheated 400 degree F oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Brush tops with butter.
