Honey Grilled Chicken Wings Recipe

This honey grilled chicken wing recipe is added to the grilled wings at the end and adds a wonderful flavor.

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

SAUCE
1 lemon, juice and zest of
1 1/2-2 cups canned chicken broth
1-2 garlic clove, chopped
1 teaspoon steak seasoning
1 Tablespoon steak sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup honey
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon cornstarch + 2 Tablespoons water
1 Tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

Set the grill to medium heat and place the wings onto the grill. Cook, turning frequently for 30 to 40 minutes until they are cooked all the way through and starting to get crispy.

Sauce

While the chicken is cooking make the sauce.

In a saucepan stir together all the ingredients except the cornstarch. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes.

Stir the cornstarch into the water and add a little bit at a time. Bring to a boil and cook until the sauce has thickened.

Turn off the heat.

When the chicken is cooked, use a pastry brush and paint on a light layer of the sauce. Cook 5 minutes longer.

Remove from the grill and put into a large serving bowl.

Toss with the remaining honey glaze and serve.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds if you are using them.
