Put a small mixing bowl and beaters into the freezer for 15 minutes.
Pour the heavy cream into the chilled mixing bowl and beat until stiff.
Keep refrigerated until the drinks are ready.
Select 4 glasses that will hold 8-10 ounces plus ice and whipping cream.
Fill each glass about 1/2 full with ice.
Pour in the coffee leaving space at the top.
Add milk and syrup to each glass, to taste.
Stir gently to combine.
