Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a 9 inch springform pan with parchment paper
In a food processor or blender, blend together flour, brown sugar and butter.
Add in almonds and just blend in till incorporated.
Place into bottom of spring form pan and press down to make a base.
Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
Beat together cream cheese, sugar and flour, until light and fluffy.
Add in eggs one at a time and beat after each addition.
Mix in sour cream and maple syrup until well incorporated. Lastly add in almonds and give a quick mix.
Pour mixture into prepared spring form pan and bake for 50 - 55 minutes or until cheesecake has set.
Let cool. Sprinkle top of cheesecake with chopped almonds. Release spring form pan and serve.
