This milk gravy recipe is easy to make and you can have ready to pour over chicken if you are not making a regular brown gravy for it.
Use a small saucepan to make the milk gravy.
Melt the butter over low heat and add the milk, salt and pepper and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
In a measuring cup, stir the cornstarch into the chicken broth to make a slurry.
When the milk is simmering, whisk in the cornstarch mixture. It will thicken quickly. Bring to a boil, stirring the whole time then shut off and remove from the burner.
Stir in the dill.
Do a taste test and season as necessary.
