Moist Pumpkin Bread Recipe

A delicious pumpkin bread, perfect for morning or afternoon break. Your home will be filled with the most incredible aroma.

Ingredients

3 cups granulated sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 15 oz can of pumpkin
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground pumpkin spice or all spice
1/2 cup water

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Lightly grease two regular size loaf tins with oil.

Combine the sugar, oil and lightly beaten eggs in a large mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to combine.

Add the can of pumpkin and beat in.

In another mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, cloves and pumpkin spice (or all-spice).

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet using an electric mixer on low speed, beat a little of the dry mixture in and keep adding until all the dry is incorporated into the batter.

Pour into the prepared pans.

Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and set the pans on cooling racks for 10 minutes before removing from loaf pan and placing directly onto the cooling rack.
