Pan Fried Mushrooms Recipe

This pan fried mushroom recipe is very basic and filled with flavor.
1 small white onion, sliced
20 small to medium sized mushrooms, wiped clean
3 tablespoons butter
1 garlic clove, minced
salt and pepper to taste
sprinkle of red pepper
*Optional Garnish, fresh rosemary and parsley
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the mushrooms and minced garlic and and sautee the onions until transparent and browned.
Turn the heat to high and add the mushrooms and let cook until you see them starting to brown then toss and continuing cooking about 5 minutes.
Turn the heat down to medium and add the butter.
Let the mushrooms simmer in the butter, gently tossing them so they are evenly coated.
Season with salt and pepper and a sprinkle of red pepper.
Garnish with a piece of fresh colorful rosemary and parsley if you have it.
