Makes (1) 8x8 inch pan

1/2 cup peanut butter
4 Tablespoons butter, at room temperature
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 eggs
2/3 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup salted peanuts, finely chopped


Preheat oven to 350F.

Grease an 8x 8 inch square baking pan.

In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer on medium speed, cream together the peanut butter and butter.

Add and beat in the brown sugar, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a

separate bowl.

Slowly beat in to the butter mixture and mix until well blended.

Use a wooden spoon to stir in the peanuts.

Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.

Place into the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the brownie comes out clean.

Remove and place onto a rack to cool before cutting into pieces.
