Raspberry Freezer Jam Recipe

This raspberry freezer jam produces a jam that will make you think you are eating fresh berries plus it is so easy to make!

Ingredients

1 (1 5/8 ounce) envelopes ball fruit jell freezer jam pectin
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 cups clean fresh crushed raspberries

(Makes about 3-4 cups of jam)

Directions

Wash the jars you plan to freeze the jam in. Use either half pints of pint glass canning type jars.

Using a large glass mixing bowl, stir the freezer jam pectin and sugar together until well combined.

Stir in the crushed raspberries until combined.

Sir for 3 minutes.

Pour the crushed raspberries into the freezer containers and leave 1/2 inch head space as the jam will expand when frozen.

Leave the jam about 30 minutes to stand until thickened.

You can keep in the refrigerator for about 3 weeks or you can freeze for up to a year.

If you make lots of jams, it is a good idea to put a label with the date you made the jam.
