Round Eye Steak Recipe

This round eye steak recipe cooks the steak in a good hot skillet that is lightly flavored with fresh rosemary and butter.

4 eye of round steaks (6-8 ounces each), between 1/2″ to 1″ thick
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
2 Tablespoons butter
1 sprig of fresh rosemary


Use the salt, pepper and chili flakes to season both sides of the steaks.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt half of the butter and then add the rosemary sprig.

Add the seasoned steaks and then cook for 4-8 minutes before flipping.

Add the rest of the butter, flip the steaks and continue cooking for another 4-8 minutes.

Remove from skillet and wrap in aluminum foil. Let stand in foil for 5 minutes before serving.
