1 (1 pound) sweet potato (one large sweet potato yielded 1 heaping cup of sweet potato flesh)� cup unsalted butter, softened
� cup white sugar
� cup brown sugar
� cup milk
2 large eggs, room temperature
� teaspoon ground nutmeg
� teaspoon ground cinnamon
� teaspoon or less ground cloves
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie dough
