A sweet and creamy chocolate fudge trifle recipe, This is a lovely dessert for a diner party.
Prepare angel food cake based on package directions and set aside to let cool. (* You can also make this cake from scratch if you have time)
In large bowl combine the milk with the fudge pudding.
Whisk for 2 minutes and then put in fridge for 5 minutes.
Add softened cream cheese to the pudding and mix until well combined.
Pour heavy cream into a glass or metal bowl and whip.
Add sugar and vanilla and whip some more until soft peaks form.
Break your cake in to golf ball sized pieces.
Take half of those pieces and place them in a large glass dish or small individual dishes.
Pour half of your pudding/cream cheese mixture on top and then half of your whipped cream on top of that.
Repeat layers; cake then pudding then cream.
Refriderate for 2 hours before serving.
Top with chocolate sauce and almond slivers.
