Tater Tot Cheesy Beef Bake Recipe

Looking for a really easy meal that the kids will love. This tater tot dish with ground beef, peas and cheese will be a hit!

Ingredients

Serves 4
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of celery or cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
2 cups frozen peas
1 16 ounce package frozen tater tots
1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
salt & pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 375F.

Have ready a 9x13 baking dish.

In a skillet on the stovetop, heat the oil, add the ground beef and the chopped onion and cook until done. Break into a crumble texture as it cooks. When no pink shows, taste and season with salt and pepper. Shut off.

Stir the can of soup, undiluted into the meat mixture.

Stir the frozen peas into the mixture.

Transfer the mixture into the baking dish.

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the mixture.

Top with the tater tots, lining them up in nice rows.

Place into the preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes until the tots are cooked through, brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and serve.
