Tropical Smoothie Recipe

This tropical smoothie is healthy, tastes fantastic and you can feel good about putting it into your body.

Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh mango, cubes ( or frozen)
1/2 cup fresh papaya, cubes ( or frozen)
1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunk ( or frozen)
1 fresh banana ( or frozen)
3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 teaspoons honey, to taste (optional)
1/2 cup plain natural yogurt
2 handfuls ice cubes

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

Serve right away.

HERE ARE SOME SMOOTHIE TIPS

If you use frozen fruit your smoothie will come out thick and cold.

We suggest pre-freezing bananas for smoothies.

Just peel the bananas and cut them into 1-inch chunks, put into a sealed container and freeze. Use as needed.

If you like to drink smoothies, you can pre-freeze several chopped banana chunks and always have them on hand.

When you use frozen fruits, you can omit the ice cubes.
