Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe

This tuna pasta salad is a great way to use up any leftover pasta you may have. This is a nutritious and delicious meal choice.

Ingredients

4 cups cooked spiral pasta
1 large ripe tomato, chopped
1/4 sweet red bell pepper cut into small pieces
4 black olives, sliced
4 green olives, sliced
2 cup butter lettuce leaves
1 (5 ounce) can solid albacore tuna

Dressing
4 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Directions

Put the pasta into a mixing bowl.

Add the chopped tomato, red pepper, and sliced black and green olives.

Toss together.

In a small bowl, mix together the oil, vinegar, lemon juice salt and pepper.

Pour the dressing into the pasta and toss to combine.

Open the can of tuna and drain out the liquid. Put into a small bowl and break apart with a fork.

Arrange the butter lettuce leaves into two serving bowls.

Transfer the pasta salad onto the two bowls and be sure to scrape any dressing that may be on the bottom of the bowl onto the salads.

Divide the tuna onto the two plates and serve.
