Being part of a large family, with lots of children around, one begins to realize the utmost importance of kid's nutrition.
When thinking about kids nutrition:
1. What a kid eats will affect his entire day! We all need healthy food, but kids REALLY need healthy food. It is what is going to help them build healthy brains, bones and attitudes.
2. Monkey - See - Monkey - Do. This goes especially for the women out there. Kids watch and learn YOUR attitudes about food. If you are constantly guilty about eating, or bringing a negative attitude about cooking or eating, your kids will adopt this same attitude.
3. Go for lots of color! The natural kind of course. When thinking about kids nutrition, think about green leafy veggies, bright blueberries, orange sweet potatoes, green chickpeas and more.
