Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray cavities of brownie pop pan with vegetable pan spray.
- Place mold on a cookie sheet.
- Combine eggs, oil and sugar. Mix well. Stir in vanilla.
- Combine and add the dry ingredients; stir with a wooden spoon.
- Fill brownie pop pan holes each 2/3 full with brownie batter.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick to see if they are ready.
- Bake your brownie bites.
- Remove from oven and let cool, gently loosening edges of brownies.
- Flip pan and place flat on counter and tap the bottom with some force to encourage the brownies to come out of pan.
- If they do not come out easily, try to loosen again with knife.
- Use a skewer to poke a hole in the bottom of each brownie ball.
- To melt your candy coatings, melt chocolate options in separate heatproof bowls in a microwave or over a double boiler stirring often until melted.
- Dip the pops one at a time in the coating, holding the dipped pop over the bowl and allowing excess coating to drip back in the bowl.
- Place onto parchment lined plate and immediately decorate with Smartie or other candy of choice.
- If you forget this, you can whip up a little bit of icing to hold your Smartie in place.
- Brownie Bites can be served immediately, or they will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
