Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites
These bacon wrapped chicken bites are easy to prepare and smell so delicious.

Ingredients
- Makes about 24 bites
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 package of bacon
- 3 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 3 Tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- *Optional: Parsley Herb Butter for piped garnish
- 1/4 cup butter, at room temperature
- + 1 Tablespoon finely chopped parsley, stirred into soften butter and put into a piping bag
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425F.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a baking rack onto the foil that you can put the bacon wrapped chicken onto to keep it from sitting in pan directly. Set aside.
- Rinse the chicken breasts in cold water. Pat dry.
- Cut the breasts into about 24 bite size pieces.
- Cut the bacon strips into thirds.
- Wrap each piece of chicken with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Have a shallow bowl set beside you to place each one into for now.
- In a small bowl, stir together the Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Use a pastry brush to coat each of the bites. As you coat them, place them onto the baking rack and leave space between them.
- Place into the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until bacon is browned and chicken is cooked through completely.
- Remove from the oven and cool slightly before serving.
- *Optional; Pipe on a little parsley herb butter.
- *Note: If you like really crispy well done bacon, you can pre-cook the bacon in a frying pan until it is half way done before wrapping it around the chicken.
