A delicious apple loaf recipe that is moist and delicious.
Heat oven to 350F.
Grease with butter and dust with flour two 9x5 loaf pans.
In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt.
In a second large mixing bowl, cream the sugar, butter and oil.
Add sour cream and orange juice. One at time, add the eggs mixing well after each addition.
Stir flour in until just moistened.
Fold in shredded apple and nuts.
Divide mixture between prepared loaf pans; bake 50 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean and loaf is golden brown.
Cool 10 minutes in pans, then cool on rack until cool.
