This easy to assemble, baked chicken breast recipe makes its own gravy sauce and goes very well with mashed potatoes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Clean and slice the mushrooms.
Dice the onion.
Use an oven proof baking dish that is large enough to hold the breasts without stacking them and place the breasts in the pan.
Sprinkle the chopped onions and sliced mushrooms on top.
Stir the flour into the broth then pour on top.
Scatter the chopped butter on next.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake for about one hour or until the chicken is cooked through.
