Baked Potatoes With Italian Ham Recipe

A Hearty baked potatoes with Italian ham recipe, Great served with a side salad.


2 large potatoes
2 teaspoons butter
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
8 thin slices Italian ham (or substitute a honey ham or black forest ham)
1 teaspoon parsley, chopped fine
salt and pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Scrub the potatos, and cut off any scabs or black parts. Poke potatoes a few times with a fork.

Bake potatoes 45-55 minutes or until fork tender.

Soften potato insides by rolling the baked potato between your hands.

Cut in half and coat each side with butter, and salt and pepper.

Sprinkle with cheese then top each half with ham and parsley to serve.
