This recipe for baked salmon with lemon comes with a dill tartar sauce that is so perfect.
To start, make the Dill Tartar Sauce.
In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the tartar sauce. Mix until well combined and set aside.
In another small bowl, mix together melted butter and lemon juice. .
Using a basting brush, brush the salmon them with the melted butter and lemon juice.
Season to taste with salt and fresh ground pepper.
Preheat the oven to 425ºF.
Arrange the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. While cooking, be sure to baste the salmon with the melted butter and lemon juice every 5 minutes.
Once the salmon has just cooked through, remove from the oven and arrange steaks onto warmed individual plates.
Pour the pan juices into a small container and mix in the parsley.
Pour the pan juices over the salmon steaks and serve with a spoonful of tartar sauce on the side.
Serve immediately.
